Instagram Hack: How To Upload Images to Instagram from a Desktop / Laptop / Mac
Instagram has announced that users can now post to instagram without using the instagram app – simply by visiting instagram from a mobile phone.
Instagram has updated its website sigificantly – adding the core features of the main app, including photo sharing and a lightweight version of the Explore tab.
Sadly, desktop / laptop PC and Mac users are (for now) left out in the cold – however here’s a workaround that will let you post to instagram from your PC / Laptop :)
How to post to instagram from a PC or Mac
1. Install a user-agent switcher in your browser. This tool will enable your PC to pretend (a.k.a ‘spoof’) that data sent to instagram from a computer is actually being sent from an android or iphone.

- User Agent Switcher For Opera
2. Once the extension is installed and activated, click on the extension / plugin icon in your web-browser and select Android or IPhone and if required, the Operating System version (eg. “Android Kit-Kat”).
3. Visit Instagram via your PC web browser- (Instagram will think you’re you’re accessing it from a mobile)Instagram will now load the new mobile website (and the functionality which isn’t avaialbe to desktop users) enabling you to post to instagram directly from a PC.
